AZ-ZAHRA SECONDARY SCHOOL – FEE POLICY
Effective Academic Year: 2026
Introduction
Az-Zahra Secondary School is a private Islamic school dedicated to nurturing students in both academic excellence and Islamic character. This Fee Policy outlines the fee structure, payment terms, and conditions applicable to all enrolled students for the 2026 academic year and beyond.
For 2026, the school is open to Form 1 and Form 2 students only. Higher forms will be introduced progressively until Form 5 is established in 2029.
Payment Terms
Payment Options
Parents may choose from the following fee payment options:
- Monthly:
Fees are payable by the 5th of each month.
- Termly:
Fees are divided into three (3) terms per academic year, with payment due before the start of each term.
- Yearly:
Full payment for the year is made before the academic year begins. Parents choosing this option may benefit from simplified fee tracking.
Payment Methods
Payments can be made using any of the following methods:
A. School2Me App (via Billplz Gateway):
- Recommended for secure, fast, and cashless transactions.
- Official receipts will be auto-generated and stored in the school2me app.
B. Online Bank Transfer:

Proof of Payment
All payment proofs must be uploaded via the School2Me App for reconciliation and record purposes.
Responsibility for Payment
It is the parent’s/guardian’s responsibility to ensure that all school fees are paid on time and in full. The school will not be liable for delays due to failed transactions, unverified payments, or bank processing time.
Late Payment & Penalties
1. A payment reminder will be sent if fees are unpaid after the 5th of the month.
2.If fees remain unpaid for two (2) consecutive months, the school will take the following firm actions without further notice:
- Suspend the student’s attendance until the account is settled.
- Withhold all academic reports and school documents.
3. Any financial difficulties must be communicated to the school in advance for record and discussion purposes. The school does not guarantee any reduction or exemption of fees.
Fee Conditions
1. Tuition fees will not be prorated for school holidays, absences, public holidays, or closures.
2. If there are fewer than 10 school days in a month, meal fees will be charged at 50% of the standard rate.
Refund Policy & Deposit
1. The Registration Fee is strictly non-refundable, regardless of whether the student starts school.
2. No refunds will be provided for tuition, annual, or meal fees once a new term has commenced.
3. The RM500 Refundable Deposit is claimable upon withdrawal, subject to:- Submission of a minimum one (1) month written notice;
- Full settlement of all outstanding dues;
- Compliance with the official School Withdrawal Policy.
Failure to meet any of the above conditions will result in forfeiture of the deposit.
Books and Uniforms
1. Books and uniforms are not included in the tuition or annual fees.
2 Parents are responsible for purchasing these items separately.
Fee Adjustments
Az-Zahra Secondary School reserves the right to revise the fee structure annually in accordance with inflation, operational needs, or programme enhancements. Any revisions will be communicated to parents in writing at least one (1) term in advance.
